When we began planning to have a master bathroom put in, we met with several contactors. The best choice we ever made was to hire Jon Longo. He met with us many times to finalize the plans, to go over all the details, to make sure the project would turn out as we envisioned it would and stay within our budget. 

We are really happy and satisfied with the quality of workmanship and open communication that Jon and his crew gave us. They are very neat, very meticulous and careful when doing the work. 

Jon always made sure that what was being done would meet or exceed what we expected. He called every day to give us a status of what was done and what would be done next.

Jon Longo has been “our contractor” for about 10 years now. During that time, Jon has completed many wonderful projects for us, bringing our “mid century modern” ranch into the 21^st century. He has managed a complete kitchen renovation – moving walls and windows, repositioning all appliances and plumbing for more efficient cooking,  installed a beautiful raised panel wainscoting look in our dining room,  reconfigured a small half bath resulting in a considerable increase in useable space, redesigned closet space in the master bedroom so that we now have a walk in closet with a dedicated shoe closet(!) and brought a 1950’s master bath beautifully up to date.

Jon is an excellent general contractor for a project of any size. He is incredibly easy to work with, is easy to reach via phone or text,  and will always call you back promptly when you need to reach him.

Jon takes great pride in his work from the initial design and planning stage to the final finishing touches. All of the skilled professionals he brings onto a project are true craftsmen. They are polite, courteous and clean.

Unlike many other GC’s, Jon has a very keen eye for design. His suggestions for “tweeking” our projects have given us “great” outcomes rather than “just ok”. Despite his many wonderful suggestions, he ultimately will always listen to his customer’s wishes and provide exactly what they want.

Jon does keep a sharp eye on costs. For our recent master bathroom renovation, he saved us a great deal of money on plumbing, granite and tile without compromising the finished product.

Jon is not the least expensive GC you will ever find, but neither is he the most expensive. We have always found his prices to be extremely fair.  At the same time, the quality of his work is second to none. Couple that with how pleasant he is to work with through any project – large or small – and we don’t think you’d find a better person to manage your renovation.
